I Love Photographing Families as they Grow!

This shoot was in 2021 when Coleby proposed to Nichol. This is the same couple in my last post. I didn’t know either of them previously, and I was honored that Coleby chose me to photograph this important day. The funny thing about this shoot… They were out on the pier when Coleby dropped to one knee and popped the question. A well-meaning patron of the private beach saw this unfold and ran up with her cell phone frantically snapping away, while I was at a discreet distance using a long lens. They didn’t see me on the beach and thought I was the one with a beer and my cell phone. I successfully captured the moment, as well as a few shots of the spontaneous camera lady. We all met at the end and had a good laugh.
